Analytics is optional

Plausible and Yesward load only after you select Allow analytics. If you continue without analytics, the website and booking journey work as normal.

What is stored on your device?

We store one first-party preference in your browser's localStorage under falsterbo:privacy:v1. It contains only whether you allowed or declined analytics, when the choice was saved, and when it expires. It is retained for no more than 180 days so we can respect your choice on later pages and visits.

Analytics services

Plausible helps us understand overall page views and which links, downloads, and forms are used. It does not use analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers on this website.

Yesward helps us understand friction in the booking journey. With analytics allowed, we may measure page path, time on page, scroll depth, property and price views, comparisons, opened FAQs, repeated rapid clicks, booking starts, and booking confirmations. Yesward uses a random page identifier held only in memory for the current page. It does not read form fields or send URL query parameters. It is in shadow mode: decisions are recorded for evaluation, but no messages or offers are shown.

Raw Yesward events are automatically deleted after 90 days. Aggregated measurements in Cloudflare Analytics Engine are retained for three months.

Change or withdraw your choice

Select Privacy choices in the footer at any time. Declining is as easy as accepting. If you withdraw a previous approval, the page reloads so analytics services stop immediately.

External services

Lodgify provides availability and booking functionality. If you continue to Lodgify, Stripe, or WhatsApp, that service's own cookie and privacy information also applies.
